How soon can I start working?

Our TalentTeam database is constantly updating, so job availability changes on a daily basis. Once we’ve fully evaluated your application, questionnaires, and assessments, we’ll take your preferences into account and put together ideal positions for you and your skills.

What is involved in the application process?

To determine your compatibility for the positions we have open, we have a multi-faceted process by which we learn about your work history, skills, and various work preferences. We have you fill out the application and forms in our office anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. or click here to use our online application. If you prefer to set an appointment for your application, you can call (801) 574-2777 and choose option 0.

In the application, we don’t just want to learn about your work history and skills, but also your work preferences. We want to know what you enjoy in terms of company size, team size, and how to utilize your skills. Our job recruiters take the time to really get to know you and discover your passions in order to place you in the perfect position.

After the application is complete, our recruiters will assess whether we are working to recruit someone with your talents. If so, you'll interview with a staffing manager. In the interview, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your talents and explain what you're looking for in your next position. The staffing manager will discuss not only what specific skills you have, but also find out more about your experiences in job-related settings.

During the hiring process, you may be asked to participate in an orientation or various pre-employment screens like a drug test or computer-based talent assessment. The screens are designed to match candidates and positions as closely as possible, so they’re frequently different from job to job.

If we’re not working on anything that fits you at that time, you'll go into our database and will be considered for new positions as they become available. Our job openings change every day, so stay positive!

How often should I contact your office after an interview?

We know you’re eager to get working in a job that will fit your needs perfectly and our talent recruiters want that for you too! With that in mind, we encourage you to reach out to our team frequently to see if there are jobs for which you would be a good fit.

What if I am not interested in a certain position when it's offered? Is it all right to turn it down?

It's our main goal to find a position that fits your needs and matches our clients’ needs, so there will be times when you may not be interested in a position we offer. If you're not interested in a position, you're free to decline. We'll continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.

What if I am on an assignment and decide it's not for me?

Sometimes, we place a person in a job and they decide it might not be a good fit for them. If you're on an assignment and find it's not going to work for you, we'll ask that you contact us immediately. You may be asked to stay at an assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, but we'll work quickly to get you into an assignment that fits you better. Our role at a job recruitment company is to find the right combination for both the employees and the employers, so we totally understand that this happens from time to time. We’ll Capitalize do our best to find you an ideal situation as soon as possible.

What do I pay for your services?

As an applicant, you'll not pay for any of the services TalentTeam provides. Our services are paid for by the businesses for which we’re finding employees, so we do the hard work to find you a position on their behalf. This is what makes your positions so desirable and ideal - the company needs you!
